Paragons of Originality’s success is dependant on a cooperative effort and requires active, respectful and honorable participation by all members.
Thus, each guild member is responsible for upholding the guilds good reputation and name throughout his/her travels in Proudmoore.
With this in mind, we present the following guild rules which all members are expected to understand and follow:
1. Kill stealing, ninja looting, taking advantage of others for personal gain, or any other kind of unethical behavior will NOT be tolerated under ANY circumstances.
• If you are accused of any of these types of behavior an officer will contact you for your side of the story as well as the other party involved. Action will be taken if necessary.
• If the officer determines to his/her own satisfaction that you were involved in any of these unsavory acts, the officers and leader of the guild will vote on possible removal from the guild.
2. No obscene language or behavior that is upsetting to others will be tolerated in any way.
• Be considerate of others. Try to refrain from using obscene language and behavior unless you're sure your group won't mind.
• If you have a problem with someone, don't be afraid to bring it up with the person immediately, or contact an officer so we can resolve the issue. Adults will curse, but please..we all know what's considered highly offensive. A good rule of thumb is that if you're not sure if it will offend someone or not, then it WILL.
3. Check the site, update character information and post regularly so that you and others are knowledgeable with event schedules, general information, issues, etc.
• While officers will gladly answer questions you may have, you should do your best to educated yourself as a member of the guild. This includes knowing raid times, your own DKP, etc.
4. Aid others by giving directions, offering advice on magic, trade skills, and quests, escorting people, and engaging in many other forms of behavior that aid fellow guild mates and others in Proudmoore.
• We're all in this as a team. One weak link makes the whole team weaker.
5. Although it is not required that you help guild mates by donating items to the bank, or assisting others by way of donations, it is recommended if you would like to receive donations in return.
6. Feel comfortable. We're all in this together, so if you need something let the guild know; its the only way we know what you need.
Even if someone doesn't have what you need, they can help point you in the right direction.
• Don't be afraid to speak up.
• Whether it be needing items or reagents, help with quests, getting invites, or having trouble with your group/party/raid; letting players know how you feel immediately can resolve issues and allow everyone to enjoy their time, instead of building a small issue into something larger.
7. The point is to have fun. Abiding by these rules helps to ensure that everyone enjoys their sacred WoW playing time.
